Standard Electroplating was founded in 1924 by A.Sheriff in Bangalore, India. Starting out with cycle wheel rims in a small workshop, Sheriff’s service dedication and innovative thinking lead to steady growth.
Sheriff is considered to be the first to bring Nickel plating to southern India. Today, Excel draws its inspiration from its history and the dedication of its founder to push the boundaries of excellence.
In 1966, Standard Electroplating was renamed A.R.Sheriff Electroplaters. With an clientele of industry leading organizations, A.R.Sheriff Electroplaters became the preferred choice for electroplating.
The business was converted to a private limited company in the year 1991 and renamed Excel Metal Processors Private Limited.
